2.4 GHz frequency-hopping telemetry links Vega with the CATS Ground Station.

Recovery, telemetry, and data
Vega is a general-purpose rocket flight computer built around a configurable flight-state machine. It detects its mounting orientation automatically, then uses each flight phase to trigger the recovery and mission actions you assign to its two pyro channels, two servo channels, and additional I/O. Backup timers can add time-based triggers.
During flight, Vega sends altitude, vertical velocity, GNSS (GPS) coordinates, battery voltage, and the current flight phase to the CATS Ground Station at 10 Hz. The 2.4 GHz frequency-hopping link is paired with a link phrase, and Vega remains fully functional when no Ground Station is used.
At the same time, Vega records high-rate sensor and flight data to onboard flash. After recovery, connect the board to your computer and open the complete flight log in CATS Configurator or CATS Flights to review events, plots, and the GNSS trajectory.
